Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that spectators will have free access to the fourth and fifth days of the first Test match between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The move aims to boost attendance during the weekend and will allow fans to witness the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 series without any charge.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, families and students are particularly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to support their teams. Entry will be allowed upon presentation of an original CNIC or B-form. While VIP enclosures like Imran Khan and Javed Miandad will be reserved for families, other premium enclosures such as Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat will also be open for free viewing.
The board clarified that the free entry policy does not cover the PCB Gallery or Platinum Box. Spectators who have already purchased tickets for these dates can claim a refund. Online purchases will be automatically refunded, and those bought at Express Centres require the original ticket for a refund.
Furthermore, a free shuttle bus service will be provided to facilitate access to the stadium. This service will cover two routes on match days, ensuring that spectators can reach the venue conveniently from key points in the city.
