Balochistan Education Delegation Visits IIUI to Discuss Scholarship Schemes and Compliance

Islamabad: A delegation from the Balochistan Education Endowment Fund (BEEF), led by Mr. Shahzad Hameed Kakar, visited the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) to meet with Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sarwar, the acting president, and discuss scholarship schemes and policy compliance for Balochistan students.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the visit aimed to ensure the accuracy of records for scholarship students and to orient university officials on newly launched scholarship schemes. These include the “District Topper Fully Funded” and “Matric to Graduation Partially Funded Scheme,” as well as a new initiative aimed at empowering transgender students from Balochistan with fully funded scholarships.

During the meeting, President IIUI lauded the efforts of the BEEF team in awarding scholarships and fostering collaboration between BEEF and the University Advancement and Financial Aid (UAFA) office at IIUI. He emphasized the university’s commitment to addressing societal needs by preparing skilled graduates who can significantly contribute to societal and national progress.

The meeting also included Ms. Nuzhat Zareen, Director of UAFA at IIUI, and additional BEEF team members, Mr. Ghulam Moin ud Din and Mr. Abdul Kareem, who supervise various scholarship schemes.
