Preparations for 6th Poultry Science Conference and IPEX-2024 Underway at UVAS

Lahore: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS), in collaboration with the Pakistan Poultry Association, is finalizing arrangements for the upcoming 6th Poultry Science Conference and IPEX-2024. The event aims to gather professionals and experts from the poultry industry to discuss critical issues and innovations.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the meeting to review the conference preparations was chaired by UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus. Notable attendees included IPEX Chief Organiser Abdul Haye Mehta and Convener PSC Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch, among others. The discussions focused on the logistical aspects of the conference and the role of UVAS in supporting the event’s success.

Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus emphasized the importance of the conference as a platform for the poultry community to exchange ideas and solutions. He highlighted the state-of-the-art facilities at UVAS’s sub-campus KBCMA-CVAS Narowal, which include academic blocks, clinics, and laboratories, contributing to the advancement of practical skills in livestock management.

The conference is set to feature foreign keynote speakers from prestigious institutions who will address pressing issues in the poultry sector. It will include interactive sessions, technical discussions, and extensive networking opportunities, aiming for significant participation from both public and private sectors.
