PTI Announces Rally in Islamabad, Criticizes Government for Restricting Peaceful Assembly

Lahore: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Musrat Jamshed Cheema criticized the government for preventing the party from organizing a peaceful rally, announcing plans for a major gathering in Islamabad post-Ashura.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema expressed disapproval of the impediments placed on PTI’s leadership meetings with founder Imran Khan, questioning the democratic nature of such actions. He revealed that Khan is positively considering participating in the government’s All Parties Conference (APC) to address national issues. Cheema also lamented the current leadership’s disregard for the country’s challenging circumstances, accusing them of focusing more on undermining Khan’s popularity than on governance.
