Punjab University and PGMI Forge Partnership for Health Sciences Collaboration

LAHORE: Punjab University has entered into an agreement with PGMI/AMC/LGH to enhance academic cooperation, research collaboration, and patient sample collection. A signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place in the committee room of the undergraduate block.

According to University of the Punjab, the MoU has been formalized between its Faculty of Health Sciences and PGMI/Lahore General Hospital. The agreement is set to fortify collaboration in laboratory facility utilization, joint research projects, and expertise sharing in health sciences. The institutions will collaborate on academic and research endeavors, including laboratory studies, knowledge exchange, and capacity building initiatives. The partnership will also focus on the ethical collection and analysis of patient samples for research purposes.

The MoU highlights cooperation in training, research development, and academic exchange, providing opportunities for faculty and students to access shared resources. Representatives from both institutions affirmed their commitment to strengthening institutional ties and advancing research to tackle public health issues.
