Faisalabad: The NTU-PMYDC Wing Society inaugurated “Wajood-e-Zan” on April 30, 2025, an event that celebrated the identity and strength of women through art and cultural expression. The opening ceremony showcased the significant roles women play in society, adorned with traditional décor and cultural elements.
Dr. Jafar Hassan Mubarak, a renowned poet, journalist, and social activist, attended as the chief guest. Known for his 26 nominations for civil awards, Dr. Mubarak delivered an inspiring speech that resonated with the audience. Joining him were Ms. Nadia Shamim, the NTU-PMYDC Focal Person, Dr. Isma Hamid, and other faculty members.
The event underscored the Wings Society’s dedication to fostering empowerment, equality, and cultural pride, aligning with its mission to highlight the pivotal contributions of women in various spheres.
