Sargodha: The Wazir Agha Library at the University of Sargodha recently concluded a two-day workshop titled “Advanced Data Analytics Using Python,” aimed at boosting the research and analytical skills of faculty members within the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event saw more than 25 faculty members from various departments actively participating.
According to University of Sargodha, the workshop was held as part of the Research Support Program of Wazir Agha Library and was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Uzma Shahzadi, Chief Librarian and Director Academics. Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ahmad, Chairman of the Department of Statistics, served as the resource person, with Javed Iqbal acting as the training coordinator.
The sessions focused on strengthening the analytical and computational skills of participants through modern data analysis techniques using Python. The program featured a combination of structured presentations and practical demonstrations, allowing faculty members to apply data analytics tools effectively in evidence-based research and informed academic decision-making.
Participants showed a strong interest in incorporating advanced digital tools into their research and academic activities, highlighting the workshop’s success in fostering a proactive approach to data-driven research.
