VC UET Highlights Importance of Leadership in Higher Education at Ceremony

Lahore: Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, attended the closing ceremony of the Leadership Training Program organized by Higher Education Advocacy and Development (HEAD) as the chief guest. The event marked the culmination of a program aimed at empowering leaders in academia.

Dr. Munir, in his address, underscored the critical role of leadership in shaping the future of higher education. He asserted that initiatives like the HEAD Leadership Training Program are crucial for equipping academic leaders with the tools needed to drive meaningful change within their institutions.

During the ceremony, Dr. Munir distributed shields to distinguished guests, acknowledging their contributions to the field. Among those present were senior journalist Naeem Masood, Prof. Dr. Ijaz A. Qureshi, and former Minister Choudhry Jaffar Iqbal.
