Uvas Observes International Day Of Peace With Walk For Gaza, Kashmir

Islamabad: The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore marked International Peace Day with a demonstration of solidarity for the people of Gaza and Kashmir. The institution’s Intellectual Development and Educational Awareness Society (IDEAS) organized a peace walk to raise public consciousness about the ongoing conflicts.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) spearheaded the march, joined by Dean Faculty of Veterinary Science Prof Dr Aneela Zameer Durrani, Prof Dr Haroon Akbar, numerous faculty members, and a substantial student body. Participants carried signs and chanted slogans advocating for peace in the troubled regions.

Following the procession, Prof Dr Muhammad Younus commended the Pakistani Armed Forces, emphasizing the importance of a robust defense system in maintaining national security. He expressed pride in the nation’s military strength.
