UoT Management Sciences Overhauls BBA Curriculum to Align with Market Needs

Turbat: In a strategic move to align academic offerings with market demands, the University of Turbat’s Department of Management Sciences has initiated a comprehensive restructuring of its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) curriculum. The decision was made during the department’s 9th Board of Studies meeting, chaired by Dr. Ghulam Jan, Head of the Department.

The meeting, held on December 12, 2025, brought together academic leaders from various institutions, including Prof. Dr. Beenish Malik of the University of Balochistan, Dr. Irfan Siddique from the University of Central Punjab, and several senior faculty members from the University of Turbat. The discussions centered on curriculum development and the incorporation of new elective courses, guided by the latest directives from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

Dr. Ghulam Jan, addressing the participants, highlighted the department’s commitment to improving educational quality and research capabilities. He emphasized that the curriculum redesign is a step towards equipping students with the skills needed for the contemporary business environment. The initiative has been endorsed by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, who supports efforts to enhance institutional quality and student outcomes.

The restructuring aims to ensure that UoT graduates are well-prepared to meet the evolving demands of the business sector, reflecting a broader trend in academia towards practical, market-oriented education.
