UoT Faculty Shine in UNODC-Led Development Program

Turbat: Faculty members from the University of Turbat have successfully completed an 11-week Faculty Development Program focused on countering violent extremism and fostering social cohesion. The program, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, aimed to enhance competencies in social entrepreneurship and peacebuilding.

Under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, the initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to faculty development and collaboration with educational and research institutions globally.

Participants Dr. Hani Abul Hassan and Ms. Ruqia Mirwani were part of the cohort that underwent intensive training, which included modern teaching techniques. The program is seen as a step towards equipping educators with the necessary tools to address current social challenges through innovative educational practices.
