UoT Alumna Joins Global Scientific Forum in Germany

Lindau: Five young Pakistani scientists, including Mahjabeen Hassan, an alumna of the University of Turbat, represented Pakistan at the 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Chemistry. The event was held in Lindau, Germany, from June 29 to July 4, 2025.

Mahjabeen Hassan, who hails from the district of Kech in Balochistan, earned her Master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Turbat in 2021. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at the H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry at the University of Karachi.

The participation of Ms. Hassan in the prestigious meeting was acknowledged with congratulations from the Vice Chancellor of the University of Turbat, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan. He, along with the university community, extended their best wishes to Ms. Hassan, her family, and her teachers.

Prof. Dr. Hasan expressed that it was a proud moment for the University of Turbat to see its alumna taking part in such a significant international scientific event.
