Sargodha: The University of Sargodha’s Directorate of Student Affairs held a meeting in the Multipurpose Hall Committee Room under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas. The meeting, attended by deans, directors, and senior officers, focused on reviewing the department’s achievements and discussing future initiatives.
Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hasan, Director of Student Affairs, presented the agenda and the department’s performance report. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas emphasized the importance of students as pivotal assets of educational institutions and commended their discipline and hard work. He credited the Directorate of Student Affairs for its essential role in transforming students into responsible citizens.
The Vice Chancellor highlighted the department’s active participation in university events, including convocations, awareness programs, and community services. He expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Deputy Directors of Student Affairs and Campus Student Executives, lauding their contributions.
Director Student Affairs Dr. Mehmood-ul-Hasan Awan noted the reorganization of the directorate under the Vice Chancellor’s guidance, ensuring effective student guidance. He encouraged students to seek assistance from the DSA office.
The meeting concluded with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas distributing certificates of appreciation to outstanding DDSAs and CSEs. The meeting was also attended by senior university officials, including Prof. Dr. Usman Minhas, Dr. Rehana Ilyas, Dr. Uzma Shahzadi, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Raza Bilal, Prof. Dr. Imran Ghafor Chaudhary, and Col. (R) Ishtiaq Ahmad.
