SARGODHA: The University of Sargodha (UoS) has entered into a partnership with Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Hospital Mushaf to establish the hospital as a teaching facility for its Nursing College. This collaboration aims to bolster the clinical education and training of nursing students.
As part of the agreement, PAF Hospital Mushaf, with its 300-bed capacity, will serve as the primary clinical training site for UoS nursing students. The initiative is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional healthcare practices.
A Clinical Liaison Committee, formed by representatives from both institutions, will oversee the coordination of academic and clinical training. The Nursing College will appoint a Clinical Coordinator to ensure training activities align with the standards set by the Pakistan Nursing Council.
Additionally, the University of Sargodha will provide in-service training sessions to the nursing staff at PAF Hospital at no cost. The agreement also reserves two seats each in the morning and evening nursing programs for PAF employees or their dependents.
The MoU outlines that UoS will manage academic and administrative responsibilities, while PAF Hospital will grant access to its facilities and specialist staff for clinical instruction. The agreement includes a one-year internship at PAF Hospital following the four-year BS Nursing program.
