University of Punjab Students Create Posters on Peace Psychology Themes

Lahore: The Institute of Applied Psychology at the University of the Punjab has recently showcased a student-led poster project focusing on peace psychology themes, under the guidance of Dr. Naumana Amjad. This initiative aimed to deepen understanding and spur dialogue on crucial societal issues through visual expression.

According to University of the Punjab announcement issued on 13 July 2024, the posters covered a range of topics, including social justice, structural violence, human rights, peace education, domestic abuse, countering war, and inner peace. The project provided students with a platform to integrate and articulate psychological concepts visually, thereby enhancing their learning experience and fostering a broader discussion on implementing psychological principles to promote peace at multiple levels.
