Lahore: The Department of Mathematics at the University of the Punjab has scheduled a public defense and viva voce examination for Ph.D. candidate Ms. Tahira Jamal. The event will take place on September 9, 2024, at 09:30 AM in the Seminar Hall of the department.

According to University of the Punjab, Ms. Jamal has completed her doctoral studies under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Malik Zawwar Hussin from the University of the Punjab and Prof. Dr. Adil Jahangeer from Namal University, Mianwali. Her thesis, titled “A Study on Different Patterns of Some Physical Models Using Lie Theory and Bifurcation Analysis,” explores advanced mathematical methods to analyze physical systems. The defense will present her research findings to the academic community and the public.
