Rawalakot: The University of Poonch Rawalakot observed World Environmental Day with a series of activities aimed at promoting environmental consciousness among students and faculty. The event, organized by the Department of Environmental Sciences, included an awareness walk and a campus clean-up effort.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the awareness walk featured participation from the Dean of Agriculture, Dr. Nasir Rahim, alongside faculty and students, who carried banners emphasizing the significance of environmental protection. Dr. Majid Mahmood Tahir, Chairman of the Department of Environmental Sciences, highlighted the impact of environmental changes globally and specifically on Pakistan, urging collective action against climate change.
