Rawalakot: Khurshid Qasim, the Chief Librarian of the University of Poonch Rawalakot, has retired after a distinguished tenure, marked by a ceremony celebrating his contributions not just to the library but across various departments. The event, described as simple yet dignified, took place in Rawalakot, where colleagues lauded his multifaceted role within the university.
According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, Vice Chancellor Dr. Zakaria Zakir praised Khurshid Qasim for his excellent service in various capacities beyond his primary role, emphasizing his versatility and dedication. Registrar Dr. Abdul Rauf Khan, along with other university officials, acknowledged Qasim’s successful career and extended their best wishes for his future endeavors.
The ceremony also featured speeches from Muhammad Shamim Khan, Director of Planning and Development, and Muhammad Khaleeq Khan, President of the Administration Staff Association, who both highlighted Qasim’s significant impact on the university’s operations and culture.
