Peshawar: The University of Peshawar and the Institute of Business Development and Promotion (IBDP) convened on July 10th at the university’s Business Incubation Center to outline a prospective collaboration aimed at enhancing support for startups and fostering economic growth.
According to University of Peshawar, the meeting, led by Mr. Saif Ullah, Manager of ORIC at the university, involved key figures including Ms. Norin Shah from IBDP, Dr. Shakeel, a lecturer at the university, and Afrasiyab Farooq, Project Manager at the Business Incubation Center. The discussions focused on several collaborative efforts, such as boosting student and alumni entrepreneurial ventures, promoting manufacturing sectors, and organizing startup-awareness and idea-pitching activities.
The participants agreed to draft a collaboration framework, which will soon be reviewed and finalized. This framework is intended to launch a series of initiatives designed to engage students and spur innovation within the university community and beyond, setting a foundation for sustained economic development and business success.
