Haripur: The University of Haripur has announced that it will close its doors on July 16th and 17th, 2024, in observance of Ashura, the significant Islamic event commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Hussain. This closure aligns with the recognized public holidays for the 9th and 10th of Muharram 1446 A.H.

According to The University of Haripur, this information was disseminated through a circular from the Office of the Registrar, confirming that all academic and administrative operations will be suspended during these two days. The university will resume its normal activities on Thursday, July 18th.
