University of Haripur Leads Campus-Wide Plantation Drive to Boost Environmental Efforts

Haripur: The University of Haripur demonstrated its commitment to environmental sustainability by organizing a campus-wide plantation drive, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman. The event underscored the university’s dedication to community engagement and fostering environmental responsibility.

University officials, including Registrar Mr. Muhammad Riaz and the Dean of the Faculty of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, joined in the effort by planting saplings on the university grounds. The initiative was supported by key figures such as Mr. Waseem Ahmad, Deputy Commissioner of Haripur, Mr. Ibrar Khan, Divisional Forest Officer Haripur, and Mr. Safdar Shah, Ex-President of the Haripur Chamber of Commerce.

Participants from the Haripur Chamber of Commerce actively contributed to the event by planting trees and expressing their support for environmental preservation. The event was organized by Mr. Riaz Muhammad, Provost of the University of Haripur, who ensured the smooth execution of the drive.
