University of Haripur Announces HEC Need-Based Scholarship Program for 2025-26

Haripur: The University of Haripur has opened applications for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Need-Based Scholarship Program for the academic year 2025-26, targeting financially needy undergraduate students.

According to the University of Haripur’s press release, eligible candidates include those enrolled in four to five-year undergraduate degree programs, from the first to the seventh or ninth semester, who demonstrate genuine financial need. A minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 is required, though first-semester students must have secured at least 60% marks in their Intermediate examinations. Students benefiting from partial tuition fee waivers under the university’s reimbursement schemes may also apply.

The scholarship is not available to students already receiving scholarships from federal, provincial, or other national or international sources, nor to those enrolled in programs with full tuition fee concessions for Fall 2024 admissions. Additionally, students admitted on a self-finance basis are ineligible.

Application forms are accessible online or can be collected from the campus photocopier shop. Completed applications must be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid and Development by May 15, 2026. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered. The Institutional Scholarship Award Committee will review all applications transparently, following HEC guidelines.
