Lahore: The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization at the University of Central Punjab organized a workshop on Research Proposal and Grant Writing as part of its Faculty Capacity Building Series 2026. The event, led by Dr. Muhammad Azeem Ali Shah, aimed to equip participants with strategies for crafting competitive research proposals, identifying funding opportunities, and preparing effective grant applications.

According to University of Central Punjab, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh discussed the initiatives of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization to enhance faculty research capacity, promote innovation, facilitate industry collaboration, and advance research commercialization. Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and the practical application of research skills in academic settings.
