University of Central Punjab Faculty Among Top 2% of World’s Most-Cited Scientists

Lahore: Six faculty members from the University of Central Punjab have been honored by being included in the top 2% of the world’s most-cited scientists, as listed in the latest release from the Elsevier Data Repository. This recognition reflects their significant contributions and impact on global research communities.

According to University of Central Punjab, this acknowledgment comes from the “Updated Science-wide Author Databases of Standardized Citation Indicators” published by Elsevier on September 16, 2024. The criteria for inclusion focus on citation impact, including metrics such as the h-index, and adjustments for co-authorship. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh is notably recognized for the second time, underscoring his influential work in Chemistry and Nanomaterials.
