London: Leading UK international aid organization, Muntada Aid, has been awarded “Highly Commended Charity of the Year” at the 2025 Third Sector Awards in London. The award acknowledges the substantial global impact of the organization’s relatively small UK-based team.
Muntada Aid focuses on providing essential humanitarian assistance, bolstering healthcare systems, and restoring dignity to at-risk populations worldwide. Their work encompasses a broad range of initiatives, including delivering vital supplies like food and water to conflict zones such as Gaza, providing free life-saving heart surgeries to children with congenital heart defects through the Little Hearts project, and restoring sight to those suffering from cataracts through their Gift of Sight/Cataract programs.
