Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore held an Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir and co-chaired by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, with active participation from academic and administrative leaders.
The meeting was attended by the Deans from all academic faculties, the Registrar, the Treasurer, and directors from the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), and the Directorate of Studies. Student representatives and the Deputy Director of QEC were also present, underscoring the university’s emphasis on inclusive academic governance.
A significant portion of the meeting focused on the presentation of a follow-up report by the Director of QEC. The report detailed the status of action items from the previous IQC meeting, with a review of progress on existing initiatives.
New agenda items were also discussed, prominently featuring the establishment of the Self RIPE Review Committee and the review and approval of UET Lahore’s Quality Policy. The committee members provided feedback, and the proposed items were approved after thorough deliberation.
