Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore celebrated the reopening of its swimming pool after a six-year hiatus, with an opening ceremony attended by university dignitaries and members of the sports department.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the event was presided over by UET Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, and attended by various university officials including deans, chairpersons, the TSA President, the Senior Warden, the Convener of the Sports Committee, and the Director of Sports. The Vice-Chancellor lauded the efforts of the UET Sports Department for their role in refurbishing and reopening the facility, which will serve students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff alike.
