Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore recently held a meeting with its Alumni Chapter in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to discuss strategies for strengthening alumni engagement and connectivity. The meeting, which took place at the Vice Chancellor's Office at UET Lahore, included both in-person and online participation from chapter members based in Saudi Arabia.
According to University of Engineering and Technology, the meeting featured an online demonstration of a newly developed alumni registration portal intended for use by UET alumni residing in Saudi Arabia. The portal aims to improve registration, connectivity, and engagement among alumni across the Kingdom. During the session, Engr. Mazhar Hussain, President of the UET Lahore KSA Alumni Chapter, and other chapter members provided a briefing on their progress and the portal's development.
Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, the Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, discussed the university's recent initiatives and ongoing efforts aimed at institutional advancement. He expressed appreciation for the KSA Alumni Chapter's initiatives in organizing and engaging alumni in Saudi Arabia. The meeting concluded with mutual appreciation and a vote of thanks, underscoring the shared commitment to enhancing alumni-university relationships for the university's advancement.
