Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore and Karwan-e-Ilm Foundation have reached an agreement to continue their annual scholarship program aimed at supporting deserving students. This decision was made during a meeting between Khalid Irshad Soofi, Director of Karwan-e-Ilm Foundation, and Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, where they discussed financial support initiatives for students.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Khalid Irshad Soofi outlined the foundation's long-standing commitment to providing scholarships for underprivileged but talented students at UET Lahore. He emphasized the foundation's dedication to expanding the program to benefit more students in the future. Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir expressed his appreciation for the foundation's efforts, highlighting the role of such initiatives in promoting education and ensuring equal opportunities.

Dr. Shahid Munir also emphasized the importance of support from the private sector and philanthropic organizations in advancing higher education. He pointed out that financial assistance can empower talented students to contribute to national development. Both parties agreed to enhance coordination to improve the effectiveness and transparency of the scholarship program, with a focus on aligning it with students' needs.
