Lahore: The University of Central Punjab's Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, in partnership with the Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry, recently hosted the 5th Technical Workshop on EndNote and Generative AI. The event provided attendees with hands-on training in reference management and explored the role of artificial intelligence in boosting research productivity.

According to University of Central Punjab, the workshop featured two key sessions. The EndNote - Reference Management session, led by Dr. Muhammad Riaz, Dr. Muhammad Afzal, and Malik Abdul Rahim, offered practical training in managing references, organizing citations, and formatting research papers and theses. Another session, titled "Generative AI in Research Productivity," was conducted by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh. It focused on leveraging generative AI to enhance research efficiency, while also addressing ethical considerations for its responsible use in academia. Participants received certificates and access to EndNote software as part of the workshop's offerings.
