Turbat University Hosts Workshop on Research Proposal Writing for Graduate Scholars

TURBAT: The University of Turbat (UoT) recently concluded a workshop titled "Understanding Graduate Regulations and Developing Effective Research Proposals," aimed at enhancing the research skills of its postgraduate students. The event, organized by the Directorate of Graduate Studies, targeted MPhil and PhD scholars, offering them practical guidance on developing research proposals, understanding graduate regulations, and navigating the thesis submission process.

According to University of Turbat, Dr. Ghulam Jan, Chairman of the Department of Management Sciences, and Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director of Graduate Studies, led the workshop sessions. Dr. Jan focused on effective research proposal writing, while Dr. Barkat addressed the graduate rules and regulations at the University. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Gul Hasan, praised the workshop as a significant step towards enhancing the research capacity of the scholars. He reiterated the University's commitment to providing ongoing mentorship and capacity-building opportunities, aligning with UoT's Strategic Plan 2030, which aims to position the institution as a hub for research-driven education.
