Haripur: The University of Haripur recently conducted a one-day training session focused on the implementation of Outcome-Based Education (OBE). The session, held on August 20, 2026, aimed at enhancing faculty members' understanding and skills in outcome-based teaching and assessment methods.
According to The University of Haripur, Dr. Muhammad Nauman Habib, Manager QEC at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Haripur, led the session as the resource person. The training covered key areas such as effective OBE implementation, assessment strategies, and quality assurance practices, with an emphasis on strengthening the professional capabilities of the participating faculty members.
The coordination of the training was overseen by Prof. Dr. Shiraz Khan, Director Academics; Dr. Asad Ur Rehman, Assistant Director, Affiliated Institutions; along with Miss Ammara Bibi and Mr. Badar Abbasi. Faculty members who attended the session gained valuable insights into contemporary academic practices and the significance of OBE in improving the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
