TNFJ Leader Calls for Urgent Government Action Following Violence in Para Chinar

Islamabad: Amid a backdrop of severe violence in Para Chinar, the head of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ), Allama Agha Syed Hussain Maqdisi, has issued a stern call for immediate government intervention. He stressed the urgent need for peace restoration measures to ensure the safe observance of the upcoming Muharram mourning rituals in the region.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, during an emergency meeting of the Muharram Committee, Allama Maqdisi expressed grave concerns over the significant loss of life and injuries among innocent civilians in Para Chinar, despite the presence of security forces. He emphasized that the violence is not fueled by sectarian conflicts, as both Sunni and Shia communities in the area desire peace.

Allama Maqdisi urged the government to secure the borders to prevent the influx of terrorists, who he accused of disturbing the peace during Muharram. He highlighted the Moosavi peace formula as a crucial strategy for restoring stability in the region and called for the strict implementation of every provision of the National Action Plan.

In support of these efforts, Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah, Advocate and President of TNFJ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, detailed ongoing communications with local officials and community leaders in Karam Agency, reflecting a collective resolve to continue religious observances despite threats. He affirmed the community’s commitment to thwart the plans of malicious elements through unity and adherence to the teachings of Quaid Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and the head of Tehreek Agha Maqdisi.
