KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arslan Khalid issued a critical statement against the Sindh government, accusing it of administrative and social failures. He highlighted a surge in HIV cases in Karachi and the abduction of young girls in interior Sindh as evidence of this negligence.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khalid criticized the provincial administration for allowing criminal activities to rise and for failing to address infrastructural decay. He pointed to issues such as stray dog attacks, water shortages, and a failing transport system, which he claims are exploited by mafias. Khalid further alleged that Karachi's revenue contributions are not reciprocated with adequate services, citing extortions and a lack of streetlights that endanger citizens.

Khalid also condemned the Sindh government's priorities, noting a lack of action regarding public crises while accusing officials of being preoccupied with leisure activities. He remarked on the absence of high-level meetings to tackle these issues over the past two years, calling it a disservice to the citizens.
