Shahnawaz Dahani to Miss Darwin Tour Due to Injury, Mubasir Khan Steps In

Darwin: Pakistani fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has been sidelined from the ongoing Pakistan Shaheens’ tour in Darwin following a back injury. Dahani, who had previously showcased a strong performance by claiming four wickets in the opening four-day match against Bangladesh A, will not participate in the forthcoming fixtures, including the second four-dayer and the subsequent white-ball games.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Dahani is set to return to Pakistan for immediate assessment by the medical panel and will begin his rehabilitation shortly. In response to his absence, the team has called up Mubasir Khan, a spin-bowling all-rounder, to the white ball squad. Additionally, Khurram Shahzad, initially due to conclude his tour after the four-day matches, will now remain available for the one-day games against Northern Territory Strike and Bangladesh A scheduled for August 4 and 6.
