Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar Announces IT Equipment Tender

Peshawar: The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar has issued an invitation for sealed bids for the purchase and installation of IT equipment as part of its project, “Strengthening of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar.” The project is funded by the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) and aims to enhance the university’s IT infrastructure.

According to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University – Peshawar, the tender includes the acquisition of 90 desktop computers, two comprehensive networking jobs (active and passive), and two turnkey CCTV system installations. Prospective bidders must be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and hold active taxpayer status. Detailed specifications and terms are available in the tender document, which can be obtained from the Project Directorate office until August 28, 2024, for a non-refundable fee of Rs.1,000.

The university has set a requirement for firms to have at least ten years of experience in the IT sector to be eligible to bid. Furthermore, a 2% bid security for each category must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) in favor of the university’s treasurer. Complete bidding documents are due by 11:00 AM on August 29, 2024, with the bid opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM in the university’s Main Committee Room.
