Seminar on Al-Isra wal-Miraj Explores Spiritual Significance and Timeless Lessons


Faisalabad: The University of Faisalabad’s Department of Islamic Studies recently hosted a seminar on Al-Isra wal-Miraj, focusing on the spiritual importance and enduring lessons of this significant event in Islamic history. The event coincided with Shab-e-Miraj, offering attendees a chance to reflect on its moral and communal teachings.



According to The University of Faisalabad, the seminar commenced with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an, setting a reverent tone for the proceedings. Dr. Tahira Inam, a distinguished writer, poetess, and Assistant Professor at Government Graduate College for Women, Faisalabad, served as the guest speaker. In her address, Dr. Inam elaborated on the miraculous journey of Isra’ and Miraj, underscoring its relevance as a source of guidance for both personal and societal aspects of life.



The seminar also featured a Naat Rasool Pak presented by Ms. Ayesha Batool, a noted Naat Khawan, alongside students from the University of Faisalabad. This was followed by a Manqabat, which was well-received by the audience, enhancing the event’s spiritual ambiance.



The gathering concluded with a collective Dua, where attendees prayed for peace, guidance, and prosperity for both the nation and the university community. The seminar was a poignant reminder of Shab-e-Miraj’s lasting significance, urging participants to incorporate its teachings into their everyday lives.
