Lahore: Punjab University has recently awarded PhD degrees to ten scholars, recognizing their contributions and research across a range of academic fields. This notable academic achievement spans various departments including Microbiology, Chemistry, and Sociology among others.
According to University of the Punjab, the degrees were conferred to individuals including Ayesha Munir, who specialized in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, and Ayesha Kanwal, who pursued Chemistry. Other recipients include Sumaira Kousar in Geography, Kashif Siddique in Gender Studies, and Zia Ud Din in Islamic Studies. The fields of Sociology, Statistics, Molecular Biology, Persian, and Islamic Studies were also represented among the graduates, highlighting the university’s broad academic offerings.
