LAHORE: Punjab University has awarded ten PhD degrees to scholars in various fields of study. According to University of the Punjab, the degrees were conferred in disciplines including Botany, Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Commerce, Applied Geology, Arabic, Geomatics, Urdu, High Energy Physics, Total Quality Management, and Pakistan Studies.

The scholars who received their PhD degrees are Rizwana Zulfiqar in Botany, Umbreen Shabbir in Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, and Qasim Zahoor in Commerce. Additionally, Baber Khan earned his degree in Applied Geology, while Ayisha received hers in Arabic. Misbah Noureen was awarded a degree in Geomatics, and Abdul Shakoor Shakir in Urdu. Furthermore, Muhammad Uzair completed his PhD in High Energy Physics, Arslan Aslam in Total Quality Management, and Asma Bakht in Pakistan Studies.
