Islamabad: The Punjab Department of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal organized a significant event to commemorate both Independence Day and Minority Day, emphasizing national unity and interfaith harmony. Provincial Minister Sohail Shaukat Butt led the celebrations as the chief guest.

Khawaja Muhammad Waseem, the Ameen of Bait-ul-Maal, along with members of the Bait-ul-Maal Council and other government representatives, also participated in the festivities.

The gathering included a cake-cutting ceremony and concluded with prayers for Pakistan’s peace and prosperity. The event highlighted the importance of inclusivity and togetherness in the nation.
