PU Seminar Illuminates Path for Aspiring Designers

Lahore: Punjab University College of Art and Designs’ Department of Graphic Design organized a seminar titled ‘Hype of Thesis’, focusing on the preparation of design thesis campaigns. The event featured Ali Aslam, a renowned art director, who shared insights and practical examples on each stage of campaign creation.

Students actively participated by asking questions on topics such as the environment, social division, women’s rights, animal welfare, and the promotion of positive thinking. This interactive session aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application.

Prof Dr Ahmed Bilal, Chairman of the Department of Graphic Design, addressed the seminar, highlighting the intersection of design and society. He emphasized that understanding the discussions from the seminar could enhance the execution of any design project.

Students expressed that the seminar provided valuable insights into market trends, which would bring purpose to their work. They praised the department for its leadership in the field and the quality of its academic and technical activities.
