PTI Senior Leader Criticizes Government Tactics Ahead of Rally in Lahore

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Musrat Jamshed Cheema criticized government measures aimed at hindering PTI’s public rally efforts, declaring that such tactics cannot suppress the public’s will. Cheema highlighted the party’s adherence to legal and constitutional norms, emphasizing that despite massive rally turnouts, PTI gatherings have remained peaceful without any incidents of vandalism.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema stated that the government’s use of physical barriers and administrative actions serve only to inadvertently promote the rally. He maintained that PTI’s commitment to lawful proceedings and democratic principles has been consistent, and the party has successfully conducted large-scale rallies nationwide without the need for additional publicity. Cheema’s statement also projected a hopeful future, suggesting an impending shift towards greater democratic freedoms and justice, signaling an end to what he described as a period of oppression.
