Prominent TNFJ Leader Shaukat Abbas Jafari Passes Away in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: Shaukat Abbas Jafari, a key leader of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ), has died following an illness. Jafari, who served as the regional secretary general, was a prominent figure in the religious community and was involved in numerous religious activities, including the main procession of Shahadat Khatun-i-Jannat Hazrat in Jamadi Al-Thani.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the funeral prayers for Jafari were led by Allama Agha Syed Hussain Makdisi, the head of TNFJ. The ceremony saw a large turnout, including senior TNFJ officials, clerics, and various political and social figures. It was announced that Jafari’s funeral rites will be held after the 8th of Rabi-ul-Awwal, following a period of mourning.

The late Jafari’s significant contributions to the community were highlighted during a lecture by Allama Agha Syed Hussain Makdisi at the funeral. Makhdoom Bawa Syed Farzand Ali Shah Kazmi, the Central Vice President of TNFJ, and Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, the Central Information Secretary, were among the attendees. The event underscored Jafari’s role in the religious and cultural propagation of the TNFJ’s values.

Jafari’s death marks a significant loss for the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria community.
