Lahore: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh recently conducted a training session on writing research grant proposals for the Higher Education Commission's (HEC) National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) at the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, Government College University, Lahore. The session provided insights into crafting competitive proposals, including structuring research outlines, developing budgets, and addressing evaluation criteria.

According to University of Central Punjab, the training aimed to equip researchers with the necessary skills to develop effective proposals under the HEC's NRPU initiative. The focus was on enhancing the quality of submissions to meet the program's standards and improve funding success rates. Prof. Dr. Farrukh's expertise in research proposal development was a key component of the training session.
