President Zardari Visits Hunan Tea Group, Explores Collaboration Opportunities

Changsha, China: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Hunan Tea Group Co., Ltd., where he was briefed by Mr. Zhou Zhongwang, Chairman of the company, on its operations, supply chain, and international market presence.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the President was informed about the group's comprehensive model that integrates cultivation, processing, research, and marketing within a single industrial framework. The briefing highlighted the organization of ecological tea garden bases, specialized production facilities, and distribution systems that support both domestic and international sales.

The President learned that Hunan Tea Group serves as a coordinating platform for the province's tea sector, linking growers, industry, and research institutions with branding and market access. During his visit, he toured the company's history gallery, witnessed a presentation on tea processing and culture, and participated in a tea tasting session.

President Zardari noted potential areas for cooperation in value addition, agro-processing, and export development, inviting the Group to explore collaboration opportunities with Pakistan. He was accompanied by several officials, including Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, Sharjeel Inam Memon, and Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, as well as the ambassadors of China and Pakistan.
