President Zardari Discusses Unity and Cooperation with Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi

Islamabad: In a significant meeting held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday, President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the importance of strengthening unity and cooperation among Muslim nations to address the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah. The meeting was with Dr. Salah bin Mohammad M Albdeer, the Imam of Masjid Al-Nabvi.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari welcomed Dr. Albdeer and expressed his contentment over the strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, rooted in shared faith, history, and mutual respect. He underscored Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing these bilateral relations and called for increased cultural and people-to-people exchanges to further solidify this bond. The President reassured of Pakistan’s unwavering support to Saudi Arabia, referring to the kingdom as a close ally.

Dr. Albdeer reciprocated the sentiment, highlighting the high regard Saudi Arabia holds for its relationship with Pakistan. He pointed out the strong partnership between the two nations and urged collaborative efforts to tackle the broader issues impacting the Islamic world. He also praised the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia for their role in the kingdom’s development and acknowledged the progressive reforms led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which he believes will usher in new growth and prosperity for Saudi Arabia.

The meeting concluded with President Zardari lauding the visionary leadership of Prince Mohammed bin Salman and expressing optimism that Dr. Albdeer’s visit would further strengthen the ties between the two countries. The Imam also offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of Pakistan.
