ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces and security agencies for their successful operations against terrorists in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, specifically in North, South Waziristan, and Bannu.
The President highlighted that these operations are a source of national pride and demonstrate the professionalism and determination of the country’s security forces. He pointed out that these timely actions have thwarted terrorists backed by India, leading to improved peace and stability in Pakistan.
Reaffirming the country’s commitment to eradicating terrorism, President Zardari stated that efforts under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” campaign will persist until their objectives are fully achieved. He assured that the security forces are dedicated to defeating terrorists, while the nation stands united against terrorism.
The President also mentioned that Pakistan is resolute in eliminating threats posed by external influences and will continue to fight against terrorism until it is completely eradicated. He emphasized the nation’s unwavering support for its Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies in their mission to protect the country and maintain peace.
