PPP Senator Endorses Establishment of Public-Private Partnership Authority

Islamabad: The Secretary General of the Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Senator Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, has endorsed the government's decision to establish the Public-Private Partnership Authority, describing it as a correct move. He highlighted the success of such partnerships in Sindh province under the Pakistan Peoples Party's governance.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bukhari emphasized that the Public-Private Partnership program has already been effective in Sindh, with Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurating multiple public welfare projects. These projects span various sectors, including transport, housing, agriculture, and power generation and transmission.

Bukhari further explained that these partnerships alleviate financial pressure on the government while offering significant business opportunities for private investors. He stated that the newly established authority will ensure the timely completion of development projects, leading to savings for the national exchequer and fostering economic growth.
