PPP Membership Drive in Islamabad Draws New Members from PTI

Islamabad: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) launched a membership drive in Islamabad, highlighting its role as a representative party for the country’s populace. During the event, several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders from Mianwali joined the PPP, marking a significant shift in political affiliations.

Addressing the event at the PPP Central Secretariat, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Secretary General of the PPP Parliamentarians and Central Secretary Information, emphasized the party’s commitment to advocating for laborers’ rights and leading the nation through ongoing crises. Chan noted that the PPP’s manifesto offers solutions for Pakistan’s economic and social challenges.

Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, Central Secretary General of the PPP Parliamentarians, welcomed the new members and underscored the party’s alignment with the aspirations of the Pakistani people. He reiterated the PPP’s role in representing Pakistan on the global stage.

Chan further highlighted the importance of the party’s leader, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as a beacon of hope for various segments of society, including youth and laborers. He praised the party’s historical resilience in confronting national challenges.

The event, attended by Central Changiz Jamali and Sakina Abdullah, concluded with calls for the new members to actively spread the PPP’s message across communities, reinforcing the party’s role as a guiding light in challenging times.
