Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Secretary General Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari congratulated the party's candidates on their success in the recent Gilgit-Baltistan elections, emphasizing that the outcome underscores public support for democracy and the Bhutto family's enduring influence.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bukhari commended the voters of Gilgit-Baltistan for backing the PPP candidates, attributing the victory to the party's commitment to a stable democracy. He highlighted the effective outreach campaign led by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the resonant legacy of former leaders Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.

Bukhari announced that the PPP has emerged as the majority party in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly. He assured that the elected members would focus on regional development, particularly in health, education, housing, and employment.
